Move the beat is an interactive installation where your movement creates music. It is installed in the park around Alby Gård.
Your body and its movements are registered by sensors and your limbs becomes instruments. Different movements make different loops and rhythms. Lift your legs or jump around to create new sounds or intensify already existing ones. You can dance to your own rhythms created by your own dance. This is a physically challenging installation which gives a feeling of being in control and being controlled.
Move the beat is a part of the in site – «unges delaktighet» project and is created by sound designer Jonas Bjerketvedt.
