The sculpture EX by Dutch artist Anne de Vries compliments the industrial exterior of Momentum kunsthall and seems to belong rooted in the developing landscape of Moss. At 8 meters high, EX brings to mind the haunted forests from the pages of a fairytale. However, upon closer inspection, EX borders on the absurd with its huge smile, and the branches seem to wave hello. The duality of the sculpture’s expression is the perfect welcome to Momentum10 – The Emotional Exhibition.
